I am Yenna Mawu, a spiritual Goddess who believes in the preservation of our land and the ancient wisdom that comes from a holistic lifestyle. I enjoy the practice and learning of herbalism & alternative medicine; so I started mentoring under tribal medicine women, herbalists, and midwives in many different aspects of healing and living. I have grown tremendously over the years in my herbalism practice and have found joy in holding herbology classes based around basic medicine making, handling, and cultivating our own herbs AND food. My journey into my spirituality and better connecting with myself inspired me to better connect with those around me. I am a Reiki Practitioner & Metaphysical Healer and offer spiritual guidance sessions, sound healing sessions, and meditation circles. Once I became pregnant and completely opened myself to all that bearing life could bring me; I dove deeply into my spiritualism and lifestyle and decided to become a birth worker with traditional teachings. In 2017, I became a mother to an incredible little earthling, my sweet daughter, Luna. My experience of having a home birth with minimal support and no medical intervention has inspired me to assist other families along their journey of bringing life. My hope is to empower other women to try a more natural way of caring for our little ones and providing pregnancy, labor, and postpartum support. I am a certified Holistic Birth Keeper and Childbirth Educator located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I bring all of my areas of education to my birthing families however they may need.
